Melissa Carter
President -Board of Directors
Melissa is 5th generation Wyoming, born and raised in Casper into a ranching family, she is 4th generation Natrona County.
She participated in 4-H and FFA. Melissa is married with one child who is now 6th generation Wyoming and 5th generation Natrona County.
She has worked at Platte Valley Bank for 10 years; starting as a teller and worked her way up to becoming Operations Supervisor and a Consumer Lender.
Animal husbandry, especially horses has always been a life long passion for her.
Marta Mangrum
Vice-President -Board of Directors
Marta learned to ride in South Texas and had horses when she lived in Northern California.
After a thirty year hiatus from owning horses she chose Reach as a non-profit to volunteer at because of the services they provided to the Casper community.
Marta has a degree in Social Science and brings over 20 years of social service work experience. She has experience in office management, teaching, library science and was a career counselor for over twelve years.
Kaytie Dykes
Treasurer -Board of Directors
Kaytie was born and raised in the mountains of Colorado. She started riding at the age of 6 and found a passion for the animals.
In high school Kaytie worked for a local therapeutic riding program as a side walker and exerciser. After high school Kaytie moved to Arizona where she guided dude rides and trained horses, later she found herself in North Dakota, working on a cattle ranch opened up a whole new passion.
Kaytie moved to Casper in 2017, and shortly after she met her husband.
Kaytie is a local Realtor and helps her husband with the day to day of his fence business operations.
When Kaytie isn't working she enjoys time with her horses and family.
Carla Martin
Secretary -Board of Directors
Carla is a Casper Native, who's only lived in Wyoming.
She is a University of Wyoming graduate with a degree in Chemistry.
Carla is currently a quality manager at Dura-line.
She had horses in jr high and as our secretary is very detail oriented.
Allen Mangrum
Member -Board of Directors
Allen is a business owner with over 40 years’ experience in the construction trades.
He is a Marine Veteran that served during Desert Storm.
Allen owned horses to indulge his wife and while not a horseman himself highly values the services Reach provides to the Casper Community.
BJ Largent
Member -Board of Directors
BJ has extensive experience with horses dating back to her childhood.
She earned her certification as a riding instructor from Shallowbrook Riding Academy and subsequently served in that role for several years.
Additionally, she played a pivotal role in establishing the riding program for Reach where she has also served on the board for the past 2 years.
