Meet the horses

Maybe one will steal your heart!

Savannah

Savannah was donated by Lexlin Gypsy Ranch in Tennessee. She is a beautiful Gypsy Vanner horse. Before she came to live at Reach 4A Star she was a broodmare and had four foals. Even though we never saw her with her foals, we believe Savannah was a wonderful mother as she brings her calm, loving, and patient energy to all who work with her. Savannah is available for program sponsorship.

Coming soon updated photos & bios of the current horses we use in our programs.

BamBam, Buddy, Copper, Fire Fox, Leo, Mocha, Maverick, & Tara

At Reach 4A Star, our horses play a vital role in what we do. Our horses are our partners and team mates here. We strive to go above and beyond in our care of our horses; we pay attention to each horse’s limits and signs of burn out and what we can do to help that horse relieve stress. Some horses prefer massage, some horses prefer rides from our instructors to destress, and some horses prefer time off.

The horses teach more than just horsemanship skills and basic riding. Our horses teach patience, self-discipline, social skills and so much more to our participants.

We encourage positive verbiage when talking about our horses! Each horse has their own personality, and we encourage their personality to really grow and shine.  Respect to the horse and being open to what the horse has to offer provides the growth to our participants.
